Welcome To My Capades!

My name is Carlee and I live in Ohio with my husband (Matt) and fur baby (Max).

I have always enjoyed photography, nature, and all things creative, so now in my 30’s I’ve decided that I want to combine my passions to bring you this, my blog! It’s really intimidating to start writing on a blank page, but I hope you can offer patience and grace as I learn along the way.

I absolutely love to travel and take great care in researching and planning out each adventure. I’d love to share that information with someone, but maybe even more than that, I love the idea of having an outlet to publish my passion, something tangible outside of a few photos on my camera roll.

For me, I feel most alive when in the mountains, surrounded by all the things that seem so much larger than life. My husband on the other hand, loves the relaxing sounds of the ocean waves at the beach (and not to mention a cold drink in hand). We share a lot of love for each other, so our excursions together are usually a good mix of both. We’re definitely blessed to have been able to venture out as much as we have, but there are still so many places out there to explore, it’s hard to pick what’s next!
